Our temperate coastal climate offers the best conditions for optimising the outdoor area for activities.

The sun presents some serious health risks to children but also gives important health benefits. Without some sun exposure, children may develop a condition that affects their bones: rickets. Too much exposure caries risks so a good balance is required.

Children are exposed to sunshine for short periods throughout the day (no longer than 1 hour), the playground is shaded naturally and with colourful sails to offer maximum protection and staff model and encourage good sun protection measures.
