Children are offered a selection of open ended materials to choose from that enables them to create, think laterally and problem solve whilst being empowered by choice.

Transitions

Transitions from one experience to another is kept consistent to allow the younger children to become familiar with the routine, this encourages confidence and security.

Individual and Small Group Experience

These are planned to encourage turn taking, sharing, co-operation, concentration, sense of belonging and security, enjoyment and attention span.

Indoor / Outdoor Environment

The areas of home corner, books, construction, science, nature and manipulative materials are made available on a daily basis both indoors and outdoors.

Evaluations

Each day the programme is evaluated and follow up experiences are planned to extend children's development and interests.
